The Borough Museum and Art Gallery

Set in the beautiful Brampton Park, this is a welcoming and lively museum where there is always something interesting to see and do. It has a number of galleries featuring collections which tell the story of Newcastle-under-Lyme and its people from the Roman invasion onwards. Firm favourites are the amazing Victorian street scene with its life-sized shops evoking an era of great prosperity in the town and a toy gallery full of bears, dolls and toys from years gone by.
