Bill Quay Farm

Tucked away in the east of Gateshead, Bill Quay Farm opened in 1986 and is a partnership between Gateshead Council and Bill Quay Community Farm Association – a voluntary group with charitable status. Bill Quay Farm specialises in the husbandry of endangered breeds including cows, goats, rabbits, pigs and sheep. Our Longhorn Cattle and flock of Hebridean sheep tour Gateshead’s nature reserves as part of a programme of conservation grazing. We are now a Rare Breed Survival Trust Approved Conservation Centre
