Creswell Crags

Creswell Crags is a world famous archaeological site, set in a limestone gorge with caves and a lake. It is home to Britain’s only known Ice Age cave art. This is thought to date back 13,000 years and the images of birds, bison, deer and horse provide a glimpse into the fascinating life of our distant relatives.
