Legend has it that this mystical hill with St Michael's Tower sat on top of it was a gateway to the Kingdom of Avalon, the island featured in the King Arthur tales. The formation of the seven deep terraces on which the ruins of the tower stand remain unexplained to this day.

Surrounded by divine gardens and orchards, this ancient well is a sacred place to find solace and inspiration. People have been gathering at this special spot for more than 2,000 years to drink the holy waters from the well. The sound of the water running through the garden is very soothing - you should feel properly relaxed after leaving here.
