Tyseley Locomotive Works

A fabulous collection of steam locomotives can be found at Tyseley Locomotive Works under the guardianship of the Birmingham Railway Museum Trust. Engines from the collection are used on the mainline to haul steam excursions to places of interest, making an excellent day out for families and railway enthusiasts alike. One of the major attractions is a regular steam train service between Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon called the 'Shakespeare Express.'
