Broughty Castle Museum

Situated at the mouth of the River Tay, Broughty Castle Museum gives a fascinating insight into what life and times were like in Broughty Ferry, with plenty of information about the people, environment and wildlife that live close by. The castle was built in 1496 and has seen many sieges and battles during it's past. Having fallen into disrepair during the 18th century, it was later rebuilt. The castle offers magnificent views over the river and has a changing programme of events, activities and displays for visitors to enjoy.
