Parndon Wood Nature Reserve

Parndon Wood is situated on the southern outskirts of Harlow, on Parndon Wood Road. Recorded as a woodland for at least 900 years, the reserve is a haven for flora, fungi, birds, minibeasts, small mammals and deer. Visitors can follow the guided trail around the wood or simply enjoy the surroundings. There are observation hides to sit quietly and watch for deer, or birds setting down by the ponds.
