Travelodge is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Parsons as Director of Communications. Parsons joins Travelodge from The British Olympic Association (BOA) where he held the position of Director of Sport Liaison, a role that saw him advising and promoting British athletes and National Governing Bodies. He previously served as the BOA's Director of Communications and Public Affairs.

Before joining the BOA, Parsons spent seven years with the BBC, working as Sports Correspondent and also as a presenter on the BBC News Channel. His career also encompassed the position of Sports Editor of Sunday Business newspaper and the Motor Racing Correspondent for The Sunday Times.

Parsons will join the Travelodge team on the 28th June 2010 and will sit on the Executive team. He will report directly to Guy Parsons, Travelodge's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer. (Guy Parsons new role takes effect from 1 July 2010)
