Location Description:
The Country Park offers an extensive footpath network including a variety of healthy living routes which are clearly marked walks around the Park. There’s a mixture of old and new woodlands, wetlands and emerging wildflower meadows to enjoy. The wetlands provide natural breeding grounds for newts, toads and dragon flies and three of the ponds at the site are actively managed by the Newton le Willows Anglers as fishing pools. You’ll also see bee hives which are looked after by a local bee keeper.
