Travelodge, the UK’s first budget hotel chain today celebrates the start of National Bed Month by kick starting its national search to fill 4,000 housekeeping roles throughout 2020.

Travelodge’s housekeeping teams are regarded as the ‘Heroes’ of the company. Collectively the company’s housekeeping team spend over 1 million hours making nearly 14 million beds a year.

The housekeeping jobs will be available throughout the year across the company’s current 573 UK Travelodge hotels and in new hotels as they open throughout 2020.  The vast majority of roles are permanent with flexible working hours designed around the school run. Around 1,000 positons are just for this summer season and 150 jobs need to be filled immediately.

Travelodge is looking for passionate individuals who have a desire to deliver great customer service and enjoy being part of a team. The company will teach and coach individuals all the skills they need to work in their housekeeping teams and will also provide a buddy to help new team members.
