Travelodge, the UK's fastest growing hotel company today announced the opening of its new 58-room hotel in Merthyr Tydfil. The low-cost hotel has created 15 new jobs and represents a £2.9 million investment for the area.

The creation of 15 new jobs in Merthyr Tydfil is part of Travelodge's unprecedented growth drive in Wales. The hotel company is pledging to around 1,500 rooms (approx 15 hotels) in the country by the year 2020. The programme will create roughly 300 jobs and mean an investment of over £55 million in new hotels.

Merthyr Tydfil Travelodge is ideally located for the business and leisure traveller who needs quick and easy access to Merthyr Tydfil town centre and its surrounding areas. The new hotel, located on the A470/A4120, will add an extra 58 rooms to the area priced from as little as £29 per night.

Travelodge is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals to join their team and positions available at Merthyr Tydfil Travelodge include:

- Guest Room Cleaner
