Travelodge, the UK's leading budget hotel brand today announced the opening of its new 100-room hotel in Cheshunt. The low-cost hotel has created 20 new jobs and represents a £4 million investment for the community.

The creation of 20 new jobs in Cheshunt is part of Travelodge's unprecedented growth drive in the East of England. The hotel company is pledging to around 2,000 rooms (approx 20 hotels) in the region by the year 2020.

The programme will create roughly 200 jobs and mean an investment of over £1 billion in new hotels. The major area of focus is Norfolk which is expected to see a boost of around 700 rooms alone.

Cheshunt Travelodge is ideally located for the business and leisure traveller on the A10, (Great Cambridge Road) and will offer rooms from £15 per night.

Travelodge is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals to join their team and positions available at Cheshunt Travelodge include:

- Receptionist
- Night Receptionist
- Bar Cafe Assistant
