The village and its surrounding area is an idyllic place to lose yourself on a ramble, whatever your level. There's a particularly fine 11km circular walk that's very easy underfoot, beginning and - conveniently - ending at The Chequers pub, that takes in some terrific views of the village and Nearby Lower Froyle.
Visit historic Odiham
Just three miles down the road, Odiham is a trove of independent shops, quaint cafes and quality pubs. Handmade jewellery, vintage clothes and designer outfits are available (Sophie Cranston, worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, has a shop here), and Odiham castle is well worth a visit.
